A powerful extractor fan we fitted in this Princes Park property in chatham, Kent

We've recently visited a client in Princes park who was suffering from a really noisy ceiling extractor fan, and would like it replaced. We advised him to look at slightly different alternatives to what was already there. The bathroom had loft space above, enough for an attic fan to be installed. Watch our video, and hopefully you'll be able to see with your own eyes why we go for attic exhaust fans, installed with a nice chrome bathroom vent, as opposed to an ordinary bathroom ceiling fan.

Just incase you missed it:

Advantages of In-Line Extractor Fans:

Let's delve into the advantages that make in-line extractor fans a top choice for battling condensation, damp, and mould:

Powerful extraction rates:

The sheer power of in-line extractor fans is unmatched. They effortlessly sweep away the moisture-laden air, leaving no room for condensation to form on your windows and walls. Much more powerful than your ordinary ceiling mounted extractor fans.

A Quieter type of bathroom extractors:

Enjoy peace and tranquility in your living spaces. In-line extractor fans operate with reduced noise levels. You don't usually hear the horrible whirring, humming noise you get with traditional bathroom ceiling fans, but a whooshing sound which is a testament to how fast the air is is moving from the bathroom out to the exterior of the property.

Good Value for Money:

While slightly more expensive than traditional extractor fans, their long-term benefits and superior performance make them a worthy investment. Such good value, still being comparable to the cost of havng a ceiling mounted exhaust fan in the bathroom, it'd be a silly idea to stick with what you already know!

Why have an extractor fan at all:

  • Removing Moisture Laden Air: By extracting moisture-laden air at the source, usually in kitchens and bathrooms, these fans reduce humidity levels, preventing condensation from forming on surfaces, which ultimately leads to damp conditions for black mould to grow in the bathroom and throughout the house.
  • Removing Stale Air: Stale air can be a breeding ground for mould spores. In-line extractor fans not only remove moisture but also encourages the flow of fresh air back in to the property, promoting a healthier indoor environment.
