We attended a well-known store chain to help them get the lights back on in their cash room.

First of all, we need to diagnose the problem before we start trying to treat it!

A simple testing procedure gave us enough information to proceed - power is available in that room, but the PIR motion sensor had failed and would not let the power to pass into the light to turn it on. PIR replaced, onto the next one.
