This is a porch light we were invited to replace (and rewire, but that's another story!) for a client in Tonbridge. Our client ideally wanted to be able to use a smart bulb so they can control it from their phone, set timers and such. This is the final result.
As we move into the darker months of the year, we'll get more and more enquiries for new outside lights, and repairs and replacements for outside lights.
Outside lights are a great security feature for many, especially for those who live in dark roads where street lighting is sparse.
Not only is it a good security feature - it is also very convenient! You'll no longer have to fumble in the darkness for the front door key, having to put down your shopping and get your phone out to see what you're doing!
Although it is not always possible, there are a fair amount of properties that will lend themselves to installing a brand new outside light with no making good. If that's not possible, we can go through a variety of ideas to see how you might want the wiring ran - whether clipped direct, hidden in trunking or conduit, or chased and hidden inside the walls.
