Registered electrician changing bathroom light as part of small job service

Clients can find it very hard to persuade an electrician to do a small job.

So hard, in fact, some of them get to us being desperate after calling so many electrical companies, to not hear back from them, or be let down at the quotation visit stage, and even at the works stage!

Small jobs are very admin heavy for any trade. A lot of electricians like turning up to one address for a whole day, having spoken to only one client and dealing with one quote that sets them up for months of work. When you break that one customer and one address up into multiple clients, with multiple calls to handle, multiple addresses, multiple requirements, multiples quotes, multiple discussions and emails, the admin can start getting very intense. There is no denying that small jobs are very admin heavy!

Each one of these clients are simply looking for a prompt response, and a reliable, transparent electrical service with professional delivery. We recognise this and know that there are many hurdles to fall down on, which is why we mapped out our 6 step client journey process, to help us see exactly where prominent hurdles and downfalls are on our part - so our clients (hopefully) don't get to experience them!

This client, based in the village of Boxley in Maidstone, came to use with a selection of small jobs, and had already started to find it difficult to find a local small job electrician. They were promptly booked in, estimated over the phone, and quoted when we got there which was almost bang on the estimate.

They simply wanted:

A dimmer for their kitchen lights sorted - it was indeed very old!
A new bathroom light fitted on the ceiling
Another bathroom light fitted in their en-suite

Property attended and work done and dusted within about 2 hours. Another happy client!
