This breaker clearly has signs of thermal damage. If you was in a rush you might just miss it. but there it is.
We no longer have this breaker in our possession but we've seen enough of them to know:
The metal connections would have discoloured due to being subjected to prolonged high temperatures
The yellowing plastic around the screw bolt mechanism will now be very brittle
Even if this plastic isn't brittle, the bolt is likely welded in place and wont tighten up.
I think this calls for a quick run to the shops and a replacement... Or digging through our extensive selection of retro breakers because this particular line of breakers is very likely to have been discontinued many moons ago.
